Key support offer

  • Treatment plans that are based on a person’s current level of need.
  • A multidisciplinary approach, which means that different health and social care professionals with different ideas and skills work together to offer a team treatment.
  • Health and lifestyle are important to wellbeing; we offer physical health checks and can support pursuit of a healthy lifestyle.
  • Social activities create opportunity to get to know others, learn new skills and build confidence. We have good connections with the Recovery College and support service users with access to the courses and workshops run by the Recovery College.  We also help people re-connect with their local communities by looking at what is available to fulfil their interests and hobbies.
  • Talking therapies give people an opportunity to make sense of their experiences and learn new ideas and strategies to change unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling, behaving and interacting with others.
  • Education and employment, we can support such things as applying for work and offer guidance about educational courses.
  • Medication can be prescribed to help manage difficult thoughts, feelings or experiences. We will regularly review medication and monitor any side effects.
  • Practical support such as signposting for benefits support and managing money.
  • Support for services users’ social network, for example family members and carers.
